5. Illinois (crowds and views)
6. Indiana (Notre Dame stadium at the finish)
7. North Carolina (lack of crowds)
8. Virginia (friendliest marathon in America)
9. Ohio (love the pig)
10. Utah (family favorite)
11. West Virginia (football finish)
12. Minnesota (urban beauty)
13. Wisconsin (beauty at the finish)
14. Massachusetts (running community and tradition)
15. New Jersey (smooth, laid back run with a great dinner)
16. Tennessee (City of New Orleans)
17. Missisippi (friendly run)
18. Delaware (too much concrete, but friendly organization)
19. South Carolina (hot)
20. Vermont (too much)
21. Georgia (Oh Atlanta!)
22. Texas (Austin is the nicest place in Texas)
